1. Who we are
100 Plots is run by [TRADING NAME] ("we", "us"), [ADDRESS]. Contact: [CONTACT EMAIL].
2. What you're buying
A plot is a yearly subscription for a numbered place on one of our city maps, with a business profile page. Each city has 100 plots. The price depends on the plot: founding, standard or landmark, as shown when you claim.
Founding prices are for the first businesses in each city. If you claim at the founding price, you keep that price for as long as your subscription continues without a break.
3. Claiming and payment
When you claim a plot we hold it for 10 minutes while you pay. If you don't pay in that time, the plot is released. Payment is taken by our payment provider, Stripe. Your plot is confirmed once your payment is received.
4. Renewal
Your subscription renews automatically every year on the anniversary of your claim, and your card is charged the yearly price then. We'll email you 30 days and 7 days before each renewal.
5. Cancelling
You can cancel at any time from your account. When you cancel, your plot and listing stay until the end of the year you've paid for; it then ends and the plot becomes available to others. We don't refund part-years, except as set out in our refund policy.
If a renewal payment fails and can't be collected after retries, your subscription ends, your listing is hidden and the plot becomes available.
6. Your listing
You're responsible for the information, photos and links you add, and you confirm you have the right to use them. Your listing goes live after we've checked it.
We can refuse or remove listings that are unsuitable, including ones that are unlawful, misleading, offensive, infringe someone else's rights, or don't relate to a genuine local business. If we remove a listing for a reason that isn't your fault, we'll refund the unused part of your year.
7. The map
Map positions are illustrative and based on OpenStreetMap data. We may adjust a pin so listings don't overlap.
8. Our liability
We work hard to keep the site running but can't promise it will always be available or error-free. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law. Otherwise our total liability to you is limited to the amount you've paid us in the last 12 months.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. If a change affects your subscription, we'll email you at least 30 days before it applies, and you can cancel before then.
10. Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
